Just wanted to say a big thank you to Hayley, Dan and Charlie camper at V-dub rides! Charlie was a big hit by all our guests, and a lot of beeping drivers down the a120! Dan was lovely, and a special thanks to him for bringing me and Ashley a glass of bubbly while we had our photos taken! 🙂 can’t recommend you both enough. Thank you! Orli & Rich testimonial
Hi Hayley,
We could not recommend Charlie the campervan enough, or Dan come to that. Dan was brilliant on the day. We were a bit delayed and he was so patient and helpful, we couldn’t have asked for more. Our campervan was amazing, in fact we asked Dan if he would drive us around every weekend! It was our dream to have a campervan for our wedding and Hayley and Dan made that possible. I would recommend hiring Charlie the campervan for any wedding.I hope that’s helpful, it’s all true.Thank you so much Hayley for hiring the campervan out to us. We had such an amazing day and the camapervan helped us to enjoy every part of it. Thank you.
We don’t have the wedding pictures back, but once we do I will send you some. Please thank Dan for us and say hi.
Best wishes
Orli and Rich xx

Hi Hayley,
Lovely testimonial from another lovely couple xxxx
We have to give it to Hayley and Billy Love Bug, as our day consisted of various drop off points with awkward one way streets and practically no parking ANYWHERE!!! Hayley was awesome, she just laughed and smiled through the pain and made our day fantastic!
It also rained on our Wedding day but, Hayley was there armed with her brolly and a smile to escort me to the door of the registry and save my hair from turning to frizz. We loved how everyone heard Billy’s cute horn as we drove through town! People smiled and pointed as we drove past! Billy was a bit of a celeb in Saffron Walden that day!
We highly recommend Having Billy Love Bug and Hayley look after you on your Wedding day! Such a fun and professional duo!
Thank you for making fun memories for us both x

Jessica & David – 23rd March 2014
Today I’m drove my friend ‘Freya’s’ Sister Jess to her wedding to meet her lovely groom David. Stockbrook Manor was the venue & Billy Bug sporting Navy Blue ribbons & bows knew exactly where he was heading, having been there a few times now. Greeted by The Edge Photograher Scott we waited for the new Mr & Mrs Double to come out & we headed off down the stunning drive for a few pictures. In the evening my daughter and I were invited along to celebrate & have a boogie and a few silly snaps in the photo booth. Thanks for sharing your day with us Jess & Dave, best of luck for the future xxxxx
Steve & Jackie Wedding – Saturday 22nd March 2014
Today I drove to south London & beeped my horn for the groom Steve, he’s best man Paul & he’s usher. Billy arrived as complete surprise to Steve who didn’t know we were taking him to he’s wedding, booked by he’s lovely cousin Jayne. Luckily the sun was shining so of course roof was down & tunes were on.
On arrival at the Swan at the Globe on the southbank, we were greeted by a sea of people passing by walking down the river path. Billy was an instant tourist attraction & everyone was taking pictures of him the whole time we were their. Steve’s bride arrived in a cool white cab & made her way into the venue stopping people in their tracks as she walked in.
After a few official photographer snaps & a hot cuppa later I headed home, red windswept faced after a lovely day & poured a glass of red.. another successful day 🙂 up again tomorrow for Jess & Davids
VW Camper Van Bay Window available soon – ready next month!!!!
Polly & Neil – Saturday 15th February 2014
Following on from yesterdays Valentine Wedding was another the next day. However, our bride today Polly was extremely lucky with the weather. On arrival the SUN – yes that big Yellow thing in the sky, appeared from nowhere!! I instantly got that roof down as Polly in her short stunning dress was about the walk out of her house with her father.
After a few snaps of their moment, I popped Billy’s roof up for the drive to the Life Church off Moulsham Street & she gracefully walked in to meet her hubby to be. During the service a black cloud appeared followed by rain, lots of it 🙁 Assuming that was it for the day….Polly then walked out and again the SUN shows it’s face once again!!!
Roof down & sage Green ribbons & bows today, the happy bride & groom were chauffered by myself to the pub next door to O’Conners for a swift half a guinesss – very apt with Neil being Irish, we pootled off down Moulsham street & off to Hylands Park for a few piccies. The air was cold but the sky looked amazing & the snapper was taking some wicked pictures.
We then headed off to the Highwood Village Hall, Writtle, Chelmsford for their Reception – all smiles once again xx
Kerri & Stewart – 14th February 2014
Well… Lovers out there it’s Valentines Day & our first wedding of 2014!!!!! Despite the torrential stormy weather Billy Bug & I had a wedding to do!
Arriving at the Red Lion Hotel in Colchester High Street wasn’t the easiest place to wait, however we managed to snuggle down a narrow road opposite & wait patiently ‘all baby pink bowed up” for our beautiful bride Kerrie. We were hiding from Stewart the groom as it was a BIG ‘surprise’. Being a big VW Beetle fan Kerri wanted to incorporate Billy into her day – even though the Town Hall where they were saying there vows was almost opposite:-)
After the ceremony, we had a lovely drive through Colchester High Street & me sounding my mad horn, trying to embarress them clearly didn’t work as they LOVED it. I’ve never seen a couple sooooo happy in the bug whilst raining outside before. The roof was up by obviously.. I even managed to (without realising) play there wedding ceremony/first dance song on my CD player, call me pychic, I dunno… Anyway alls well that ends well, they left with happy faces 🙂 Stewart even saying “I don’t want to get out” – which makes me very happy. So even with steamy windows & pants weather both Kerri & Stew, Billy & I were smiling & laughing, which is what it’s all about !! Pics to follow
A few testimonials from weddingspot – thank you for your lovely words everyone

We had some tremendous photos taken with the car and our photographer loved the look of it.
But my lasting memory was that Hayley seemed as genuinely excited as we were when she collect us from the church, which I was so appreciative of.
If you want a cool VW for your big day then definitely consider V-Dubs.

My husband and I have so many special memories driving from the church to our venue. Hayley really made it special. Constantly sounding our car, Billys horn, so the street would applaud and congratulate us. Super super fun!!
Not only that, but as the bride, hayley was equipt for my every need. In Hayleys kit, was a mirror, brush, hair spray even tweezers!!! Amazing!! I would 100% reccommend V-Dubs. They are Fabulous!!
I think it’s safe to say that I was a very happy bride!! Thank you again so much!!
